MarQuip specialises in the development of advanced marine exhaust systems which can stand the test of time in harsh marine environments. All too often we have observed situations where poor exhaust system design has had catastrophic results. At MarQuip, we ensure that the design is inherently safe (always using gravity to best advantage in the design) for the entire system, from the engine exit point (the turbo outlet in most cases) all the way to where the exhaust leaves the boat. Engineering
MarQuip offers a variety of engineering services in the design of exhaust systems. They include:

Project management
As soon as MarQuip initiates a project, our clients are assigned a dedicated project manager and/or project engineer. This specialist ensures smooth and clear progress from the moment the project is commissioned until the day it is finalised. They deal in a professional way with everything from the supply of materials to commissioning and sea trials, depending on the agreement between the parties.

Drafting
In addition to our 2D AutoCAD engineering, we supply our drawings for approval in 3D. The same goes for the approval drawings sent to the classification society of your choice. MarQuip uses Inventor, although we have the capacity to read and process all other 3D programs.

Consultancy
MarQuip is known for its far-reaching specialisation in delivering complete wet and dry exhaust systems for the superyacht industry. The company’s expertise rests on more than 20 years of experience in the industry and a highly versatile in-house engineering facility. Thanks to this accumulated know-how, MarQuip is highly capable of providing the best possible system that corresponds to their demands and expectations. We also help find solutions for other exhaust systems that have problems with noise, back-pressure control, underwater exhaust, damaged silencers or backflow.
