The MarQuip team enjoy taking part in the Fort Lauderdale boat show because it gives us a chance to meet many clients and fellow industry professionals in the Florida sun. To add to the social side this year, we hosted our first FLIBS fishing trip with various relations of Marquip.
This informal gathering was a great chance to catch up away from the bustle of the show and we also caught some fine (if somewhat small) fish on the way: 16 tuna, a shark and a barracuda. The weather conditions were partly cloudy with a strong breeze and, based on the enthusiasm of the participants, we are certainly planning to organise another FLIBS fishing trip next year!
